Expedition: Into Darkness patch notes: change finder
This finder reorganises official Demo 1.0.1–1.0.9 notes around five player problems: extraction, inventory, exits, multiplayer and loading. It is a quick way to identify version changes worth checking in your own build—not a current-build diagnosis or a promise that every issue is resolved.
Official patch change finder
What changed around your problem?
Choose the symptom closest to what you see. Results are selected from official Demo 1.0.6–1.0.9 notes, not a diagnosis or a guarantee that a current issue is fixed.
Inventory & quick use
- Demo 1.0.6 · 12 AugustAdded direct quick-use key selection (3, 4, 5… by default) and reported inventory UI feedback fixes.
- Demo 1.0.7 · 1 SeptemberAdded configuring items in bags and dragging items onto a character.
- Demo 1.0.8 · 3 SeptemberAdded contextual selection popups when clicking inventory and other menu slots.
- Demo 1.0.9 · 4 SeptemberUpdated the configurable-slot UI.
If your current build still differs, use its in-game prompt and the latest developer notes. A patch note reports what the developer changed; it does not establish every route, item interaction or hardware-specific outcome.
How to use the finder
- Select the problem type closest to what you see in the Demo, including extraction failing or loading after entrance selection.
- Read the listed version changes and compare them with your current build and in-game prompt.
- Use the developer’s latest note when it differs from an older video or screenshot.
- Treat a listed fix as a developer report, not proof that every similar issue has the same cause.
What this finder cannot tell you
It cannot identify your installed Demo version, test your hardware, verify a specific save, provide extraction coordinates or confirm an unlisted mechanic. The selected entries are intentionally limited to changes with a direct connection to the chosen problem type.
